”Pity the leader caught between unloving critics and uncritical lovers„

(John Gardner)

Going beyond the discussion if leadership is an innate characteristic some people are born with or a set of behaviours you can learn, we start from the belief that self-awareness is a basic requirement for effective leadership.

In our appreciative approach, we want to identify and leverage existing strengths of the individual in order to reinforce core qualities that help to guide and inspire other people.

Leadership development workshops can focus on a variety of behaviours – ranging from developing a compelling vision, building teams, leading change, handling conflicts, reviewing performance… But to be effective, authentic leadership is essentially the integration of skilled behaviour in ways that match with the personality of the individual leader. Developmental coaching has proved to be an effective way to develop effective leadership behaviour.
