”All of the great leaders have had one thing in common: it was the willingness to confront unequivocally the major anxiety of their people in their time. This, and not much else, is the essence of leadership„

(J.K. Galbraith)

ALLEGRO vzw is a joint initiative by the faculty of three professional development programs (CIGO, HRM, Matrix). The mission of Allegro vzw is to create an open learning network for facilitators of development and change – with a common ground in long-lasting development and process consultation.

The CIGO-program (Consultancy In Groups and Organisations) is an open enrollment program for professionals looking for an in-depth development of their personal insights, attitudes and skills in facilitating change and development. Key ingredients are the process consultation approach (Chris Argyris, Edgard Shein), organisation development methodologies (e.g. Action Learning, Appreciative Inquiry, …) and an exchange visit with the Case Western Reserve University of Cleveland, OHIO (USA).

In the course of nearly 50 contact days spread over 18 months, the focus is on team development, organisations as complex social systems and an intense exploration of personal capabilities as organisation development professional. The program is a joint initiative of the Catholic University of Leuven and the University of Hasselt and has a tradition of more than 30 years.

People Intent is cooperating since its start with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), with a European campus based in Brussels. CCL is a key provider of leadership development solutions attuned to the needs of individuals and organisations working in the international arena.

The Insights© Discovery System is a development tool used by People Intent, based on the pioneering personality profiling work of Carl Jung. In a highly accessible language and using 4 colours representing people’s basic preferences or energies, the Insights© Discovery Profile differentiates between 72 different types, helping to better understand oneself in the first place and to improve interpersonal and team relationships.
